According to branding phenomenon John Gerzema, the best brands today communicate excitement, dynamism and creativity. So what do companies such as Pixar, Wikipedia, Adidas and the iPhone have that others don’t? We asked Gerzema how he collected and analyzed the data to compile a chart of the highest performing brands today. What he found was sobering: The amount of trust customers place in a brand today is a ghost of what it was more than 10 years ago. What was a consumer crisis has become a confidence crisis. Gerzema’s research shows a trust virus that has affected a myriad of products and services. There is a sea of change in customer behavior, with a return to bedrock values and ways of living. Customers are forcing reappraisal on their lives and the shift is now on liquidity and saving cash. Companies need to find new ways to connect! According to Gerzema, customers are moving from anxiety to action—and companies need to figure out how they will approach this post-crisis consumerism. Did you know that currently 68 percent of Americans carry a library card? American optimism has been rocked by what is perceived to be a lack of a safety net. Customers have settled into an era of hardship and challenge, and people are being more self reliant and resourceful. The new customer is selectively seeking quality to make things last; and smart marketers are leveraging “durable living,” or products that offer future utility. Are you focusing on empathy and respect, or have you engendered a relationship with your consumer? In this podcast interview with John Gerzema, leave your platitudes at the door, and find out how your brand can communicate a message of authenticity, energy and trust.
Change is hard, even when we want it so badly. It is the unknown that scares us. Misery is easy, comfortable, we know it intimately and cling to it that much more when the change, our shift in consciousness, our step forward in healing, is upon us. Tonight's show will help you take that step forward. Call in to talk with my guest, internationally known psychic, Barbara DeLong! Get a small reading or ask questions of Barbara and Tracey.
Rolling Stone Political Writer/Reporter Matt Taibbi writes a thorough column on the "who" & "how" of the financial/economic crisis. Taibbi talks about the real impact of the stimulus and the Fed's multi-trillion dollar bailouts and impacts potential long-term damage to the global economy. Matt Taibbi is best known for his coverage of the '2004 presidential campaign and his unique Russian background. Taibbi reveals much much more. Call-in and get your questions answered!

During the presidential campaigns from the candidates, many "promises" and statements were made to the American public. From the housing meltdown, financial bailouts of wall street to the federal "stimulus" package & health care reform, trillions of dollars have been earmarked and spent that has yet to produce the promised returns on investment. WHERE IS THIS "CHANGE" WE CAN BELIEVE IN as it looks like "the more things change, the more they remain the same" to me.

Are we Listening? Do we realize what is happening? Climate Change represents a real threat to the existence of humanity, of living beings, and our Mother Earth as we know it today. Bolivia's President Evo Morales, an Indigenous person, has created a new opportunity for climate talks that failed in Copenhagen. (The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, December 2009, was a step backwards). Bolivia will host an international meeting on Climate Change 19-22 April, People's World Conference on Climate Change and Mother Earth Rights to advance effective just solutions formulated by the people and free of narrow economic interests. Erika Duenas, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the U.S. joins our dialogue about the People's World Conference and the crisis our planet faces. "Mother Earth is no longer in a period of Climate Change, but in Climate Crisis. We therefore insist on an immediate end to the destruction and desecration of the elements of life." (Anchorage Declaration, April 2009 by Indigenous Peoples Global Summit.)
We all experience shock or crisis at some point in our lives. It could be death, divorce, infidelity, bankruptcy, job loss, illness. We define what a crisis is for ourselves. A job loss for one might be crisis, and for another -- an opportunity. We all want OUT of that state of mind or condition! Moving through the healing process, we ask ourselves how long it will take, if there is help available, why do we have to do it alone, or will it ever end. That darkness fades as we take small steps toward our natural state of being -- and eventually pull ourselves up and out of that swamp of dark emotions. Join me as *natural 'Law' and universal 'Order'* are this episode's tools of empowerment in moving through crisis and fading the darkness we feel, into light. Many answers are revealed when we are clear about the forces of nature and the mechanics of our beautiful mind. While you may have completed your own journey, consider that you may have new insights that move you closer to mastery over the event.

http://www.mesart.com/indexps.jsp?artist=2494 Global Crisis “Worst financial crisis in a century. A planet in peril. War on two fronts...” Barack Obama. During today’s times of a global financial meltdown, war, political scandals, terrorism, crime, environmental problems, hunger and disease, people everywhere wonder what the future will bring. Serious and persistent crises continue and though the people call for change, the old institutions fail to meet their needs. Politicians, world leaders and media pundits alike are looking for the solutions but trying to solve the problem by the old methods. Antiquated methods which themselves led to the world we live in today. A world divided. A world on the brink of a brilliant golden future or total destruction. Within this chaotic storm, look for a man. Wise. Simple in speech. Incorruptible. A man who will advocate a complete change in our economic, political and social systems. Co-operation in the place of competition. Sharing instead of greed. Justice over corruption. Peace not war. Gary Willing has been speaking on radio, television and giving lectures around the country for over thirteen years now. Fascinating audiences as he discusses:
CRISIS COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF YOUR NEW LIFE. CRISIS ARE OFTEN A SIGNAL FOR CHANGE, GROWTH AND NEW BEGINING. BECAUSE THE SITUATION WE ARE USED TO IS ABOUT TO MAKE WAY FOR NEW ONE WE CALL IT CRISIS. CRISIS ACTUALLY MEAN TIME TO USE THE LESSONS LEARNED IN THE LAST CHAPTER THAT JUST ENDED OR ABOUT TO, AS KEY TO THE NEW ONE THAT IS TO BEGIN. INSIDE YOUR PRESENT CRISIS IS THE DOOR TO YOUR NEW AND MORE ABUNDANT LIFE. THE FACT THAT YOU DO NOT SEE THE DOOR RIGHT NOW DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT THERE. JOIN MOTHERS AT RAYERS INTERNATIONAL FOR THIS PROGRAM ON NIGERIAN PEOPLES RADIO, BROADCASTING FROM WASHINGTON DC. U.S.A.
I am a former Family Practice doctor and two time midlife crisis veteran.I help people use a “Functional Midlife Crisis” as a shortcut to the life of their dreams.A functional Midlife Crisis is actually a spiritual journey and a process of aligning yourself more with your true self -exactly the opposite of crisis Hollywood showcases. The process takes about 3 hours and you have a step-by-step action plan to bring a Dream to Life.I have delivered it to over 100 participants and have two active group coaching programs going with multiple participants making the changes in their life to live their dreams. The multiyear downturn in our economy and the fact that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 50 every single day make it more and more important that we all learn how to create our own “turning points” in midlife. This is a compelling and popular topic on any radio show. Why a Midlife Crisis done on purpose and done well is a shortcut to the life of your dreams. The real meaning of a Midlife Crisis and why it is spiritual journey. Why ALL of us will go through many Midlife Crises in our lives. Why it is so important to learn these skills NOW – before it is too late. The three huge mistakes people make when face with a midlife crisis – these are the cause of the struggle and drama most people experience. What the "Red Sportscar Syndrome" means in a mans midlife crisis – and the key mistake they are making by putting the keys in the ignition of that vehicle. The One Key Change in Perspective that sets you up to have a “functional” midlife crisis with grace and ease
